About CARD

The University of Oklahoma Center for Applied Research and Development (CARD) was created for private sector and governmental representatives that seek access to the University of Oklahoma’s expertise, facilities, and other resources through collaborative efforts to innovate, solve practical problems, and improve the human condition. Likewise, CARD is a point of contact for members of the University of Oklahoma community seeking connections to external partners for applied research.

CARD integrates and enriches relationships, processes, and tools to advance applied research and development across all disciplines. The CARD team works directly with colleges, departments, and scholars to strategically align OU’s research capacities with societal needs, business challenges, and the missions of governmental agencies. CARD coordinates with other programs across the university to align resources and facilitate access for the public and private sectors.
